Biography

I am an editorial and news journalist originally from Chicago, but currently based in Hood River, Oregon. Recently graduated from the University of Oregon, I have a Bachelors of Science in Journalism and Environmental Studies, and a minor in Science Communication.

My work has been published in Ethos Magazine, Eugene Weekly, The Goldendale Sentinel and Columbia Gorge News in Oregon, and in The Finder in Ghana. In 2023, I was named by the Associate Collegiate Press as a finalist for the Story of the Year Award in local climate change reporting.

My Niche

We are in a moment of profound change. As the climate crisis disrupts livelihoods and more marginalized communities confront environmental injustice, I seek to document that strain, then subvert it to unify people through solutions.

Apart from focusing on ecological and social harm, I see myself as a translator — occupying the grey area between academia and the public sphere. I believe information is empowering and, by making science more accessible, I hope to inspire creative, radical action. My core values are equity, proliferation ad resistance.

Connect With Me!

I'm always eager for opportunities to collaborate with others and explore new topics — whether that's related to the environment, or something else entirely. The most powerful projects are built on an array of perspectives.
